PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT

Max Morin is an experienced Mechatronics Engineer with a history of working in the industrial automation industry.

He obtained his Master of Mechatronics Engineering, with distinction, from Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia. In his final Master’s project, Max developed a cost-effective robotic sorting machine for rubbish recycling, implementing machine vision, a low cost three-axis delta robot, and components and parts that are now available in electronic stores. With this work, Max proved that smart robotics, which have the potential to solve important problems in many fields, can be developed with affordable parts and software.

Significant training and work experience in the South America, Australia, and Germany gave him sound knowledge related to mechanical, electrical, and control systems, which are the three pillars of Mechatronics Engineering. During this time, Max’s fluency in several languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, and German) enabled him to engage in international customer support related to the development and control of non-standard robotic machinery.

Skilled in robotics, electric motors, variable speed drives, crank calculations, mechatronics project planning, and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming with the international standard IEC 61131-3. In recent years, he has specialised in mobile and heavy machinery robotics control.

Max founded KINEM Robotics in January 2023 to create a dynamic, collaborative, and cutting-edge consultancy aiming to help customers with modern products and technology.
